Trade and Shipping Terms

Last updated 15 July 2026. Nahla Al-Bustan Agro Allied Ltd, RC 7304888.

1. Minimum order

Our standard minimum order is one 20 foot container per product on a full container load basis. We can consolidate several commodities in one container where volumes allow.

2. Incoterms

We quote on FOB or CIF terms as agreed. The applicable Incoterms rule is stated in the quotation and sales contract and governs the transfer of cost and risk.

3. Quotations

Quotations are valid for the period stated, typically a short window given commodity price movement. Prices are confirmed in the sales contract or proforma invoice.

4. Payment terms

We work with secure, internationally recognised terms, such as an irrevocable Letter of Credit at sight or telegraphic transfer against agreed milestones. Exact terms are set out in the sales contract.

5. Sampling

A representative sample can be provided before contract on request. The agreed sample and specification form the quality basis of the order.

6. Inspection

Independent inspection by SGS, Cotecna or another agency nominated by the buyer can be arranged at loading. Inspection costs are shared as agreed in the contract.

7. Documentation

We provide the standard export document set, which typically includes the Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin and Phytosanitary Certificate, plus inspection certificates where agreed.

8. Packaging

Goods are packed in food grade bags, jute or PP bags, cartons, crates or drums as suited to the product and agreed with the buyer, and marked to your requirement.

9. Lead times

Lead times depend on product, season and volume, and are confirmed at contract. We keep you updated through WhatsApp from booking to loading.

10. Force majeure

We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as extreme weather, port disruption, or changes in export regulation.

11. Claims

Any claim on quality or quantity should be raised promptly with supporting inspection evidence, in line with the sales contract, so it can be assessed fairly.

12. Governing law

Trade is governed by the sales contract and, where not stated, by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
